It appears that if you are planning on buying a ticket into space with Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic you're probably going to have to get yourself to New Mexico first. Although flights will first leave from the Californian Mojave Desert, they will, once the spaceport is finished, depart just north of Las Cruces, NM.
